Meet Tina Dino and Dan Linge
Friends since 1994, Tina and Dan have a passion for selling residential real estate in the North County Coastal Region of San Diego. Due to their enthusiasm, integrity and dedication to their clients, you will find that no team will work harder for you. “We LOVE what we do! We will take away the stress/anxiety from your home buying/selling experience. You won’t believe how much fun this can be!”
About Tina
“I have 3 children, ages 29, 27 and 24. My family moved to the San Diego area in 1988 from Long Island, NY, and settled in Carlsbad. For 9 years, I worked for the Encinitas Union School District (Grades K-6) in the front office as the registrar and health aid, which is where I met my friend, Dan Linge. My main focus was the 800+ students, their parents, and their school records. My children were very young and the schedule was perfect for us. I knew I would be there for a while but knew that my goal was to get into the real estate field. During my spare time I studied and got my real estate license knowing I’d be prepared when the timing was right to leave my job with the kids at school. The time was right in February, 2000, when I decided to start my real estate career.
Since that time, I’ve enjoyed all transactions I’ve been in, even the challenging ones because it just prepared me for the next one that might have some obstacles to overcome. I love working with first time home buyers because the sense of knowing I helped put them in their own home is extremely gratifying. I also enjoy working with Sr Citizens because I have the patience and understanding of what many of their needs will be.”
My favorite thing to do during my “spare” time is to relax at the ocean with a good book and a diet coke. There’s nothing better to me than to be mesmerized by the surf. Maybe that’s why I chose to work in an office just a block from the beach! I love my dogs: Micki, my Lhasa Apso, and my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Sophie and Sammy. Thank you, Dan, for showing me how much fun it is to go jet-skiing!”
About Dan
“I may look like a native California Surfer-Dude, but actually I was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, After graduating with a B.S.B.A. degree with an emphasis in Real Estate from the University of Denver, I moved to the most gorgeous place in the country, San Diego. Our son is 26 years old and graduated from the Laguna College of Art and Design in 2010, and our daughter is a senior at Chapman University. We have lived in the Olivenhain area of Encinitas for over 20 years.”
“Being an entrepreneur, I’ve had my own businesses over the years, but selling real estate is my true passion. It has given me the flexibility to concentrate on my family which led me to become the PTA President of my children’s elementary school for 2 years. I enjoyed playing an important role in the lives of my children and the thousands of students that were able to enjoy the benefits of our labor who were enrolled in that school over the years. That is where Tina Dino and I met in 1994 and became instant friends.
“My mantra is CARPE DIEM (Latin for Seize the Day) and I truly try to live by this every day I play as hard as I work, and play includes: Skiing in Keystone, CO where I have a second home: jet-skiing at the river or ocean; golfing with friends on any course that hasn’t thrown us out in the past (for having too much fun, is that possible?); relaxing in my spa after a busy day of showing property, spending time with my family (because they grow up way too fast); and watching the Chargers/Padres with my buddies. I was a competitive swimmer and love being in the gorgeous Pacific Ocean.”
